is one of purity. A love to defeat all that is natural, all that is evil. A love that can conquer the anger in our hearts, the bitterness of our emotions, and the sharp edge of our tongues. It is a love that is above any human to obtain in full, yet it is so easy to understand. Christ's love extends to those who do wrong. Christ did not come to save those who did not need saving. He did not come to give sight to those who see. Instead He came and still comes for the wrong-doers, the blind, the helpless...Christ came for those who don't know the right way to be. Christ's love is not a religion. It is not a building called "church" or "center" nor a meeting called "mass" or "service" nor simply holding a Bible in your hand. Christ's love is not a doctrine or a necessary princible. Christ's love is way much more than these things. It is a wide open range to reach out to ALL of us ALL of us. All who are wrong. All who are right. All who hate and all who love. All you reach out to hold and all who reach out to cut. There is no wrong in Christ's love. No matter how you've been hurt, how you FEEL, or how angry or sad or scared you are, no matter who did what and what you did, none of these things permit you to love in any way shape or form that is not Christ's love.
Christ was hurt. He was betrayed and ridiculed. Christ was the ultimate victim and yet He never once lashed out, He never once complained, He faithfully and whole-heartedly reached out to touch lives of even those who were wicked, those who were weak, those who were needy. Christ reached out to every one when everyone deserved His hate but not one of us did He nor has He or will He ever left behind in love. Christ's love is a forgiver of wrongs and does not keep record of those wrongs. Christ's love is an expression, a welcoming aura that is meant to allow all of us to come to Him when we've done wrong and to hear Him say "It's okay, because I forgive you and I love you and nothing you do can ever change how I so deeply love and cherish you."
That's the beauty and purity that is Christ's love that He so desperately came down to US because we couldn't come up to Him. That is the blessed emotion of pure heart to express an unfailing adoration He has and so longs for us to share and live off of. That is the golden example the Lord set freely for us when we all deserved to burn in Hell, because we are are so very wicked by naturl and long to hurt and steal and lash out and put others down and lie through our teeth and damage the hearts of others around us, our selfish, ugly hearts the Lord came to save, to forgive, to show a better way to be, a happier life to lead, a loving, true example to show our children, our friends, our families, our husbands, and our wives. NOT guilt, NOT hate, NOT carelessness, NOT cruelity, NOT lies, betrayal, mistrust, abuse, evil tongues, evil words, lashing out, unrightoues anger. None of these things are what Christ's love represents. Christ's love is TRUE, forgiving, helpful, adoring, passionate, careful, friendly and so so SO much more! THAT is the true live of Christ.
So are you showing it, Christian?
